S. Korea Branded Dialogue Breaker--KCNA Commentary
|
|
Pyongyang, February 10 (KCNA) -- To set an agenda is essential for talks in any case. Therefore, attitude toward agenda serves as an unavoidable factor that affects the whole process of solving any problem at talks. The south Korean puppet forces came out with unrealistic issues as an agenda in the preliminary talks for the opening of the north-south high-level military talks. The north side at first proposed "On clarifying a view on the 'Cheonan' case and the Yonphyong Island Shelling and defusing the military tension on the Korean Peninsula" as the agenda of the high-level military talks. The south side, however, challenged the proposal by insisting on adopting "Responsible measures over the sinking of 'Cheonan' by an explosion and the shelling of Yonphyong Island and giving assurances against additional provocations and sincere approach towards denuclearization" as the agenda of the talks. In face of such defiant demand, the north side took courageous decision to amend the agenda several times out of the desire to clear away the disgraceful past and bring about bright prospect for national unity and reunification at any cost. But the south Korean puppet forces refused to accept any of those amended agendas and dragged on time by way of proposing to continue discussion next day. Eventually, the dialogue came to rupture as soon as it began. The process of discussion on agenda is clear evidence showing the intentional and planned obstruction on the part of the south Korean group of traitors determined to derail the preliminary talks at their outset. It is illogical for those with sinister intention to take part in any discussion on important matters of the nation. |
