Day of Sun and February Holiday to Be Commemorated Abroad

| Pyongyang, February 13 (KCNA) -- Preparatory committees for commemorating the Day of the Sun, the birthday of President Kim Il Sung, and February 16, the birthday of General Secretary Kim Jong Il, were formed on February 4 in Equatorial Guinea and Uganda. Juan Nko Mbula, first deputy general secretary of the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea, and Kirunda Kivejinja, third deputy prime minister and minister of Internal Affairs of Uganda, were elected chairmen of the preparatory committees. The committees decided to hold colorful political and cultural events on those occasions. |
