British Political Party Calls for Learning from Kim Jong Il's Idea

| Pyongyang, February 13 (KCNA) -- An extraordinary plenary meeting of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Great Britain (Marxist-Leninist) was held on Feb. 5 on the occasion of the birthday of General Secretary Kim Jong Il. Chairman Harpal Brar in an opening address praised Kim Jong Il as the most faithful successor to the revolutionary cause of President Kim Il Sung. The birthday of Kim Jong Il is observed as the most important holiday of not only the Korean people but the international socialist movement, he added. General Secretary Zane Carpenter said that Kim Jong Il imbued the whole society with the monolithic ideology, added that this was one of his greatest feats and one of the basic factors of the steady victory of socialism in the DPRK. The meeting decided to continue learning from Kim Jong Il's idea of defending and advancing socialism and further boost the solidarity with the Workers' Party of Korea, the DPRK and the Korean people. |
