According to data of meteorological observation, it snowed 350-450mm in Chonnae and Kosong Counties and Munchon City from 01:00 to 12:00 on Feb. 12 and 1 200mm in Kumgang County between 16:00 and 21:00 on Feb. 11.

Snowfall of 700mm was registered in Masikryong area in a few days.

The recent heavy snowfall badly affected agricultural and other economic sectors in some areas of the province.

A brisk drive for healing its aftermath is now under way in the afflicted areas.
