A ceremony of awarding the prize took place at the Hall of the Youth League on Monday. The prize was conferred on at least 400 schoolchildren from across the country including Kim Jin Guk of Kang Pan Sok Secondary School.

The literary works created by them include selection of poems "Our General Is Best", composition "The Pilot Sector for a Thriving Nation", child poem "Wind of Songun Is Nice" and lyrics "Increasing Songun Scenery", which represented the Songun leadership feats of Kim Jong Il.

Among them are also child poem "Wind of Huichon", juvenile song "Vinalon Cotton" and lyrics "Thriving Nation in Spring", which show the stirring reality of the DPRK in which great innovations and leap forward have been made at every worksite for building a thriving nation.

Besides, there are works telling about the life of schoolchildren who delighted Kim Jong Il by distinguishing themselves at study and organizational life.
