Kim Jong Il has applied the Juche idea in all party building and activities, regarding it as the guiding idea of the Workers' Party of Korea, said Nikolai Polishk, chairman of the Ukrainian "Treasured Sword of Songun" Association for the Study of the Juche Idea.

He explained that Kim Jong Il proved the validity and originality of the Juche idea and developed it in depth as required by the times with his energetic ideological and theoretical activities.

The chairman of the "Sun of Juche" Association of Journalists and Men of Culture for the Study of Kimjongilism of Ukraine said that the Juche idea comprehensively indicates the theoretical and practical issues arising in realizing the independence of the popular masses against all manners of domination and subjugation. The tasks and ways for their settlement are also expounded in the idea, he added.

Songchit Pullarp, chairman of the Organization for the Study of the Juche Idea of Thailand, and other speakers said that the army and people of the DPRK are making a signal leap forward in building a thriving nation under the wise guidance of Kim Jong Il.

M. Jahangir Khan, advisor to the Bangladesh Barisal Society for the Study of Songun Policy, and other speakers expressed belief that the Korean people would surely build a thriving nation and achieve the reunification of the country as they are led by Kim Jong Il.
