Pyongyang, February 16 (KCNA) --There came into being Kim Jong Il Class at Ali Ali School in Karachi, Pakistan, in Feb. Juche 78 (1989). There is a touching story about the appearance of the class. Saida, then principal of the school, came to express profound reverence for Kim Jong Il while visiting the DPRK several times. He was deeply impressed to learn about the popular education system whereby everyone was given full opportunity of learning free of charge. Feeling the strong urge to widely introduce his greatness, he took the initiative to organize Kim Jong Il Class at the school. His initiative was supported by all the teachers of the school. "Our school is highly proud of having a class named after HE Kim Jong Il, the leader of the world stature produced by Korea. It is our greatest honor and happiness to have the class named after the great man", he said. The august name of the peerlessly great man is still shedding its rays all over the world as a symbol of the popular masses in the era of independence and a beacon of hope. The number of units, organizations and objects named after Kim Jong Il is on the steady increase. They include monuments "Protectors of Arts for the Century" named after President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il standing in various cities of Russia and the "Long live General Kim Jong Il" Fellowship Society in Benin. |
