Under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il the Workers' Party of Korea has successfully discharged the historic mission as the revolutionary party leading the people to socialism and registered great successes in the struggle against imperialism, socialist construction and the struggle for national reunification, the statement said.

He wished the Korean people great success in their just struggle under the leadership of the WPK headed by Kim Jong Il and expressed firm support and solidarity for it.
