Diaoyu Islands Are Chinese Territory -- Spokesman

| Beijing, February 18 (KCNA) -- Diaoyu Islands have long been considered to be part of the Chinese territory, said the Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman on Feb. 12. Speaking with reporters, Ma Zhaoxu said Japan, as regards the vessel clash near Diaoyu, has no right to demand compensation from the Chinese captain. The Japanese side should reflect on what it did over the case, urged the spokesman. |
