The organizing committee is busy carrying out diverse plans for successful championships due in September.

The project of building the sacred place of Taekwon-Do, Korean martial art, is going full steam ahead. It would showcase the undying leadership feats by the peerlessly great persons for the development of Taekwon-Do, the kinds of the Korean nation's martial art and its development as well as the history of the International Taekwon-Do Federation.

The Taekwon-Do Hall, a venue of the championships, is undergoing successful renovation.

Already produced was the design of championship logo depicting the DPRK flag, the Taekwon-Do Hall and Taekwon-Do movement. Also completed were designs of gold, silver and bronze cups and technical prize.

The Taekwon-Do players of the DPRK are training themselves for the championships.

Pyongyang sponsored the 8th World Taekwon-Do Championships in 1992.
