Kimjongilias in full bloom turned the venue of the festival into a veritable sea of flowers.

Visitors were excited to go round the undying flowers reflecting the profound reverence of the Korean people and the revolutionary people of the world for leader Kim Jong Il.

Jong Jong Hwan, 44, official of the General Bureau for Service for People, had this to say: Looking round the venue of the festival I was deeply touched to learn that soldiers and people of the country so successfully cultivated Kimjongilias despite unprecedented cold this winter.

Han Yong Sik, 51, official of the Ministry of Metal Industry, said that it is not easy to make a flower come into blossom earlier than its season. The people who make the immortal flowers bloom with deep trust in their leader can hardly be found in any other part of the world, he added.

Yun Un Byol, 21, worker under the Central Committee of the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League, said those flowers in praise of the great man are the crystal reflecting the ardent desire of all the Korean people for the wellbeing and good health of Kim Jong Il, the maker of a new history of the prosperity of the country.
