It is a great honor and pride of the Workers' Party of Korea and the people of the DPRK that they reelected Kim Jong Il as general secretary of the party, said Andy Brooks, general secretary of the Central Committee of the New Communist Party of Britain. This provided a fundamental guarantee for carrying forward the revolutionary cause of Juche, he added.

Under the leadership of General Secretary Kim Jong Il the DPRK has fulfilled its historic mission and role of leading the world progressive people in their efforts to build a new society under the complicated world situation at present, said Michael Chant, secretary general of the Coordinating Committee of the British Friends of the DPRK.

S. Z. Umalatova, chairwoman of the Party for Peace and Unity of Russia, praised Kim Jong Il as a state leader possessed of perfect qualifications as a great man and genuine people's leader serving them with great loving care.

Hannu Harju, chairman of the Communist Workers' Party of Finland for the Peace and Socialism, said that the DPRK has turned into the genuine people's country and socialist political and military power in which the Juche idea has come true under the leadership of Kim Jong Il.
