Wreaths Laid before Grave of Han Tok Su

Pyongyang, February 21 (KCNA) -- Wreaths were placed before the grave of Han Tok Su, former chairman of the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon), at the Patriotic Martyrs Cemetery on Monday on the occasion of his 10th death anniversary.

Seen before it was a wreath sent by General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

Present at the wreath-laying ceremony were Yang Hyong Sop, vice-president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly, Kang Nung Su, vice-premier of the Cabinet, Kim Yong Dae, chairman of the C.C., the Korean Social Democratic Party, officials of power organs, public organizations, national institutions and educational organs, those concerned, bereaved families, working people in the city, Pae Jin Gu, vice-chairman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, other officials of Chongryon and Koreans in Japan.

Placed there were wreaths in the name of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, the DPRK Cabinet, the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, public organizations, national institutions, universities, etc. and bouquets.

The participants observed a moment's silence in memory of Han Tok Su.
