Present at the ceremony were Yang Hyong Sop, vice-president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly, Kang Nung Su, vice-premier of the Cabinet, officials concerned, officials of ministries and national institutions, service personnel, working people, school youth and children and the congratulatory group of Koreans in Japan.

Addressing the ceremony, Minister of Culture An Tong Chun referred to the fact that the 15th Kimjongilia Festival was held with splendor as a festival in praises of the great man.

He stressed the need to boost the exchange and cooperation on the achievements and experience gained in cultivating and propagating the flowers of the sun in the future, too, to keep them in fuller bloom.
