Last Year's Natural Disasters Claim 300,000 Casualties

| Pyongyang, February 21 (KCNA) -- Natural disasters claimed 300,000 casualties and loss worth $110 billion in the world last year, according to an announcement of the United Nations. The typical disasters are earthquakes in Haiti, Chile and China, forest fires in Russia and the United States and typhoons in Asian countries. The victims of the natural disasters total 208 million. |
