Production Base for Preserved Vegetables

Pyongyang, February 22 (KCNA) -- The Sariwon Jongbang Foodstuff Producers' Cooperative in North Hwanghae Province of the DPRK is famous for production of vegetables preserved in soy sauce, traditional food of the Koreans. The cooperative with a history of 50 odd years has a streamline production system and turns out various kinds of preserved vegetables including radish, cucumber, garlic and hot pepper. Its reliable base for raw materials supplies sesame, perilla and other crops needed for preserving in soy sauce as well as vegetables. Its packed products are popular among inhabitants and travelers as they are tasty and easy to keep. The cooperative is doing its management under a meticulous plan to produce much more nutritious side dishes with good taste. |
