Citing facts to clarify the course in which the protocol was fabricated by the Japanese imperialists, the article of Rodong Sinmun notes that the protocol was an illegal document as it was cooked up by them with power, threat and coercion involved.

The protocol provided the Japanese imperialists with legal conditions for turning Korea into their colony, the article says, and goes on:

Japan is still talking about the "legality" of the sham "treaties" fabricated by the Japanese imperialists in a brigandish manner including the "Korea-Japan Protocol".

This is intolerable as it is an act of distorting and falsifying the historic truth and violating international law. What should not be overlooked is that the Japanese reactionary forces are letting loose a string of nonsense that the "'Korea-Japan Annexation Treaty' was an option of the Koreans" and "there were agreements with different countries of the world." They are justifying Japan's past crimes, denying and whitewashing them. This is a revelation of Japan's criminal scenario to dodge settlement of its past crimes and repeat the history of its aggression.

Japan had better immediately stop its shameless distortion of the history and moves to stage a comeback to Korea and redeem its past wrongs as early as possible.

Minju Joson in an article says that the Korean people will surely force Japan to redeem the crimes committed by the Japanese imperialists in the past without fail no matter how much water may flow under the bridge and how often the generation is replaced by a new one.
