Guinean Party Leader on Relations with WPK

Pyongyang, February 24 (KCNA) -- The DPRK has demonstrated its might as a power in independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defense despite the complicated international situation thanks to the tested Songun politics pursued by General Secretary Kim Jong Il, said Cisse Saloun, general secretary of the Guinean People's Assembly when meeting Ri Kyong Son, DPRK ambassador to Guinea, on Feb. 12.

Referring to the fact that the Workers' Party of Korea has achieved world-startling successes by leading the revolution and construction for years, he noted that it set a precious example to be followed by all parties.

The Guinean People's Assembly will make every effort to boost the friendly and cooperative relations with the WPK, he stressed.
