Anecdote about Kim Jong Suk
|
|
Pyongyang, February 24 (KCNA) -- It happened one day in January of 1936 when the anti-Japanese armed struggle was under way. The command of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army organized a battle to wipe out troops of the Manchukuo army who committed all sorts of atrocities against people near a village in Liushucun at that time. Anti-Japanese War Hero Kim Jong Suk participated in the battle as a member of a raid party. The party's mission was to quickly storm into the enemy barracks but they were enclosed with a high castle wall. The commanding officer and soldiers of the party were at a loss what to do. At that time Kim Jong Suk looked at the wall carefully and found that it was built with earth. She told the commanding officer that digging the lowest part of the wall a bit and pushing it might bring it to collapse. The commanding officer and soldiers were stunned by her judgment. By an order of the commanding officer, the members of the party scooped out in a moment the lowest part of the wall and pushed it with all their might till it collapsed. The party dynamically dashed ahead, wiping out the enemy. Thanks to the rare wisdom of Kim Jong Suk, the Liushucun battle ended in the victory of the KPRA. |
