Sankt-Peterburg Attacked by Influenza

Moscow, February 24 (KCNA) -- The morbidity rate of influenza in Sankt-Peterburg, Russia, has risen 48.5 percent in a week.

3,200 to 13,500 cases were reportedly recorded every day except Saturday and Sunday, 9,000 cases on a weekly average.

Six schools were closed with thirty percent of students absent, and 408 classes of 138 schools suspended lessons.
