Recently, the General Political Department of the Chinese People's Liberation Army released "Study Regulations for Military Cadres Affiliated to the Party".

The regulations demand all Party organizations implement President Hu Jintao's important instructions for intensifying study to build able and effective military guiding bodies. They also clarify the importance, contents and methods of study and its guidance.

The General Political Department called for the whole army and police to observe the regulations.
