Present there were scientists, teachers and medical workers in the field of Koryo medical science.

It heard a lot of papers dealing with the successes and experience gained in the researches to put the Koryo medical science on a new scientific and technological basis and the curative and preventive medical care.

Drawing the attention of the participants were the papers which reflected the effective methods of treating patients by acupuncture and moxibustion as they helped settle the problems arising in properly combining the Koryo medical science with modern medicine and treating incurable diseases by Koryo medicines.

The participants appreciated the papers introducing the successes made in making scientific clarification of the theories concerning experience, in particular, and in conducting the researches into putting Koryo medicines on an extractive and standardization basis.
