Russia, Cuba to Expand Cooperation

| Moscow, February 25 (KCNA) -- Russia and Cuba have agreed to expand cooperation in the fields of the economy and investment, particularly in energy and hydrocarbon development, transport infrastructure construction, pharmacy and bioengineering. The Russian Foreign Ministry said this on Monday in a briefing on the results of a meeting between the foreign ministers of the two countries in Moscow. It also said they would continue joint activities to build an impartial and multipolar world order based on the principle of respect for equal international rights. The Russian side reiterated its demand that the U.S. blockade against Cuba be lifted, it added. |
