S. Korean Opposition Party Calls for Improved Ties with North

Pyongyang, February 26 (KCNA) -- Pak Ji Won, the floor leader of the Democratic Party of south Korea, told the "National Assembly" on Tuesday that the relations between the south and north of Korea should be recovered through dialogue, exchange and cooperation, according to the south Korean internet newspaper Thongil News.

Dialogue should not be suspended in any case, Pak said, urging the "government" to set out to improve relations with the north as early possible.

"The improvement is also needed for our economy," he added.
