The libraries consist of six kinds and 17 volumes.

These books are of national value as they comprehend in a systematic way the achievements and experience gained in construction under the wise guidance of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il as well as data on latest building science and technology.

They are divided into architectural engineering, hydraulic construction, traffic construction, building materials, network of technical facilities and architecture.

"Library of Architectural Engineering" (six volumes) deals with dynamic theories for design of various materials and structural analysis of buildings, structural design and building methods of foundation and bedding.

"Library of Hydraulic Engineering" (two volumes) contains the theories on the applied hydraulics and basic principles of calculation and the survey and master plan, design, building and management for construction of a hydropower station.

"Library of Traffic Construction" has four volumes on building of bridge, road, railway, etc.

"Library of Building Materials" (three volumes) and "Library of Network of Technical Facilities" contain universal concepts on producing and using various materials, building establishments and planning programs.
