Japanese Reactionaries' Moves to Grab Chongryon Facilities Denounced

| Pyongyang, February 28 (KCNA) -- The Japanese reactionaries have gone to the extremes in their moves to grab the facilities of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon). On Feb. 18 the Tokyo District Court made a decision approving the application of the resolution and collection corporation for the provisional seizure of land and buildings of the Central Standing Committee of Chongryon. The court judged over 62. 7 billion yen out of the total bond which the resolution and collection corporation bought from the former Tokyo Credit Association of the Korean Bank in June 2007 as a loan and ruled that Chongryon should reimburse the total amount. According to this, the resolution and collection corporation seized the Chongryon buildings provisionally on Feb. 21. These moves are aimed to do harm to Chongryon, the legitimate overseas compatriots' organization of the DPRK. |
