It also offered an important occasion for boosting the dignity and honor of the Songun young vanguard and encouraging them to their best to open the gate to a thriving nation.

It is the glorious tradition of the Korean youth movement that it recorded the immortal feats in the annals of the revolution under the leadership of the party and the leader.

The great victory and remarkable successes of Songun Korea and edifices going by the name youth are associated with the precious blood and sweat shed by them dedicating their life to the party and the leader, the country and the people, singing the song "Korean Youth March".

The shining history of the Korean youth movement and the present reality prove the iron truth that no difficulties are insurmountable for the young people and victory and glory are always in store for them as they are led by the great leader and the great party.

A new era of the Juche revolution is being ushered in and the high-pitched drive for opening the gate to a thriving nation is now underway. This is high time that the five million young people exalted their honor as the descendants of President Kim Il Sung, glorified the dignity of Songun Korea and gave the fullest play to the mental power hardened in the tempests of the revolution.

The youth should successfully play the role of a shock brigade in the general offensive for building a thriving socialist nation. They should also clearly show the praiseworthy appearance of the Korean young people who are brilliantly translating the behests and the ideal of the leader into reality, fluttering the flag of the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League.
