The south Korean authorities are stoking war fever and escalating the tension to an extreme pitch, while giving lip service to "dialogue".

The efforts of one party alone are not enough to make dialogue successful. The south Korean authorities are staging the Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military maneuvers for a preemptive nuclear attack on the DPRK in league with the United States. These are deliberate moves to bring dialogue to rupture.

It is essential for warming up the inter-Korean relations to stop the war exercises. Saber-rattling is bound to aggravate distrust and confrontation and makes it impossible to mend the north-south relations, in the final analysis.

The moves stepped up by the south Korean authorities to escalate confrontation and ignite a war are acts of treachery as they are to faithfully serve the purpose of foreign forces' policy for aggression of the DPRK.

The inter-Korean relations will never improve if the south Korean authorities persistently regard foreign forces as more important than compatriots and cooperate with those forces, indifferent to the destiny of the nation.

They kicked off Key Resolve and Foal Eagle throughout south Korea together with U.S. forces despite the hands of good will extended to them. This is their undisguised cooperation with foreign forces in their moves for a war of aggression against the DPRK.

The south Korean authorities are increasing the danger of a nuclear war on the Korean Peninsula, regarding the collusion with foreign forces as more important than the destiny of the nation and placing the interests of foreign forces above those of the nation. These despicable sycophancy and treachery are unpardonable.
