They included a floral basket-laying ceremony in Russia, lectures in the Czech Republic, UK and Indonesia, round-table talks in Austria and a reading session on book "Short Biography of Comrade Kim Jong Il" in Uganda.

The chairman of the Sixth District of the Prague City Committee of the Communist Party of Czech and Moravia said that Kim Jong Il turned the DPRK into a socialist power, adding that it was entirely thanks to his wise leadership that Korean-style socialism was defended and made a triumphant advance despite the unprecedentedly difficult circumstances in history.

He foiled all sorts of the imperialists' moves against the DPRK and socialism by bolstering in everyway the national power with his Songun politics, the chairman stressed.
