US-S. Korea Joint Military Maneuvers Protested in Austria

Pyongyang, March 1 (KCNA) -- The Vienna Committee of the Left Bloc of the Austrian Trade Union Federation sent letters to the U.S. and south Korean embassies in Vienna on Feb. 24 respectively in protest against the projected joint military exercises of the U.S. and the south Korean puppet forces.

The letters read:

We express anger at the U.S. and south Korea which decided to stage joint military exercises again.

They are, in fact, a provocation to the DPRK.

We strongly demand the U.S. and south Korean authorities roll back the plan for such saber-rattling at once and halt all the provocations to the DPRK.

We urge the south Korean authorities to negotiate with the DPRK with reason.
