The on-going joint military exercises are a blatant challenge to the DPRK which has made sincere efforts to improve the north-south relations and defuse the tension on the Korean Peninsula. They are an unpardonable crime committed by the warmongers to drive the situation to the brink of a war once again, the commentary notes, and goes on:

The tension prevailing on the peninsula has not been defused in the least because the south Korean authorities are persistently escalating the military confrontation in collusion with outsiders, pursuant to their anti-reunification "policy toward the north."

The DPRK can never remain a passive onlooker to the moves of the south Korean warmongers posing a serious military threat to it and escalating the danger of a nuclear war to an extreme pitch in collusion with outside forces.

As already clarified in the statement of the Panmunjom mission of the Korean People's Army, the DPRK will react to the U.S. and the south Korean warmongers' vicious moves to escalate confrontation and their war racket with a decisive counter-action.

Their military pressure upon the DPRK will get them nowhere.

The U.S. and the south Korean puppet forces will be held wholly accountable for all the consequences to be entailed by the said joint military exercises.
