Some topsiders of the Democratic Progressive Party of Taiwan recently published new articles on the cross-Strait relations. Commenting on this, the spokesperson said China reaffirmed its stand over and over again that only one China exists in the world, the mainland and Taiwan belongs to one China and the sovereignty and territorial integrity of China can never be divided.

Noting that all the Chinese in the mainland and Taiwan universally back the peaceful development of the cross-Strait ties, the trend of the times, the spokesperson said that China flatly rejects the splitting actions of any form for "Taiwan independence".
