The Russian newspaper Veteran carried in its 7th issue a photo of Kim Jong Il waving back to the cheering crowd and an article titled "The person loved by the people".

The article said: Kim Jong Il, leader of the DPRK, always worships and respects the people. That is why his politics has always served the people and there has been built in the DPRK the socialist system centered on the popular masses in which the people are masters of everything and everything serves them.

The Egyptian newspaper Al-Misaiya on Feb. 22 carried an article titled "Kim Jong Il revered by the people".

The article stressed that he is most perfectly realizing the people's desire to live in harmony while helping and leading forward with each other.

His benevolent politics is a sure guarantee that turned the society of the DPRK into a big harmonious family, it said.
