Azalea, Reminder of Anti-Japanese Heroine
Pyongyang, March 2 (KCNA) -- On February 27 General Secretary Kim Jong Il was pleased to see a rare flower at a conference hall.

An official briefed the leader on the flower bred by horticulturists of a foreign country after years of research.

They sent the flower to Korea, wishing that it would be named after Kim Jong Suk, mother of Kim Jong Il.

Kim Jong Il appreciated them for the beautiful and long-blown flower. He then said that his mother loved azalea so that the flower serves as a reminder of her.
