Halt to Key Resolve and Foal Eagle Demanded in S. Korea

Pyongyang, March 3 (KCNA) -- The U.S.-south Korea joint military exercises, Key Resolve and Foal Eagle, which pose a threat to peace on the Korean Peninsula, came under fire by a public organization of south Korea.

The Solidarity for Democracy, People's Life, Peaceful Reunification and Sovereignty, in a statement on Feb. 28, strongly condemned the south Korean and U.S. authorities for having launched the exercises despite the people's protest.

The start of the saber-rattling is creating a war atmosphere in this land, the statement said, urging the bellicose forces to stop at once the DPRK-targeted war games harassing peace.
