Calling the agricultural front a lifeline in improving the standard of people's living, the speakers called upon the agricultural workers here to take the lead in carrying out the Party's policy of brining about a radical turn in agriculture.

The organizations under the Union are required to organize socialist emulation between districts, counties, co-op farms, work teams and sub-work teams and take stock of it in order to get the fields of the co-op farms pervaded with emulation, they said.

They stressed the need to become patriotic farmers and farmer heroes in the era of Songun who uphold the Songun revolutionary leadership of Kim Jong Il with increased grain production.
