The 9th Congress of the LPRP, the organizational vanguard and supreme political organization of the Lao working class, is slated to open soon, the editorial said, calling on the party organizations at all levels to steadily display the valuable experience and traditions of the party in accordance with the new conditions and circumstances for the successful Congress.

It appealed to the whole party and army and all the people to develop and safeguard the country according to the target for building socialism under the leadership of the party by consolidating the unity and cohesion and exerting all their efforts.
