The village will include a Taekwon-Do museum, Taekwon-Do training center, scientific institute of the International Taekwon-Do Federation, open-air training ground, lodgings and other facilities related to the development and dissemination of the Korean traditional martial art. It will also have entertainment facilities.

The project is progressing apace thanks to the builders' devoted effort.

Pyongyang will sponsor the 17th World Taekwon-Do Championships in September.
