Solution to Issue Related to Comfort Women Called for

Pyongyang, March 5 (KCNA) -- S. Korean women victims of the sexual slavery for the Japanese imperialists in the past met with representatives of the opposition parties, the Democratic Labor Party and the Democratic Party, on Tuesday and called for a solution to the issue related to the comfort women for the imperialist Japanese army.

They accused the present "government" of turning its face away from their actions demanding Japan make apology and reparation for the sexual slavery enforced by it.

They can never close their eyes unless the issue is settled, they said, underlining the need to get the grudge of the victims settled as soon as possible.

They urged the opposition parties to conduct positive activities to pressurize the "government" to come out for the settlement of the issue.
