Chinese Official on Women's Role

| Beijing, March 3 (KCNA) -- The president of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions referred to the role of women on Feb. 28 when speaking before the representatives of the winners of the May 1 Woman Prize across the country. The women should play the role of one of the wheels in attaining the target of the 12th Five-Year Plan and rapidly changing the economic development mode, he said. He stressed that the trade unions at all levels should positively settle the issues arising in ensuring the women's rights and interests. |
