The commentary said that the U.S. mulls designating Sherman, commander of the U.S. Army, as "commander" of the south Korea-U.S. "combined forces" and concurrently commander of the U.S. forces in south Korea.

This is just aimed to bring dark clouds of a war to hang over the Korean Peninsula at any cost because he earned an ill fame as a typical war maniac in the Iraqi war of aggression, it pointed out.

It condemned the U.S. for pretending to be interested in dialogue. But in fact it is making substantial preparations for an anti-DPRK war behind the scene, it added.

The party will fight it out against the U.S. with all the people standing for peace on the peninsula, said the commentary.
