In an appeal issued on March 3 it said that the Korean Peninsula is exposed to the danger of a war due to Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises staged by the U.S. and the south Korean warlike forces.

These drills are the biggest ones in terms of equipment and troops involved. They also surpass the U.S.-led RIMPAC joint military maneuvers aimed at invading the DPRK, the appeal condemned.

It said that a war in the Korean Peninsula will lead to national extinction, calling on all the south Koreans to actively turn out in the struggle for peace against dangerous war maneuvers.

The people from all strata should unite to judge the present war regime, said the appeal.
