Pulyong Temple

| Pyongyang, March 7 (KCNA) -- Mt. Myohyang, one of the famous mountains of Korea, has many cultural heritages showing the nation's history and culture and the Korean people's wisdom and talent. Among them is the Pulyong temple built in harmony with the natural scenery. The small Buddhist temple, belonging to the Pohyon Temple, was rebuilt in 1700. The building with a crane-shaped roof has no pillars in the front but a Korean-style verandah. It is said that people enjoyed the moon on the verandah. |
