Rodong Sinmun Tuesday observes in a bylined commentary in this regard:

This brings into light a criminal scenario to attack the DPRK with biochemical weapons in "contingency" on the Korean Peninsula, while peddling the story about the non-existent "threat from the north." The warmongers at home and abroad claim that the joint military exercises put emphasis on the exercises designed to cope with "attacks with WMDs" including "combined chemical, biological and radioactive exercises" but this is nothing but sophism to paint their saber-rattling as "defensive."

The north-targeted "combined chemical, biological and radioactive exercises" staged by the south Korean authorities in collusion with the U.S. are a grave challenge to the dialogue between the north and the south and the peace on the Korean Peninsula.

The prevailing situation goes to prove that the south Korean warmongers are not standing for dialogue and peace but working hard to do harm to the DPRK by force of arms at any cost by employing all means and methods including nuclear weapons and bio-chemical weapons.

We love peace and value the inter-Korean relations but we will not pardon the war maniacs making desperate efforts to do harm to the DPRK.
