The U.S. warmongers set it as the objective of the on-going joint saber-rattling to "promptly control and eliminate WMDs" of the DPRK and are hurling huge troops of the U.S. imperialist aggressor forces including sophisticated war hardware and special units and hundreds of thousands of troops of puppet armed forces into these war maneuvers.

This brings to light the U.S. war scenario to mount a surprise attack on the strategic targets and means of the DPRK with the above-said hardware and units and put the DPRK under its control at a single stroke with huge forces.

What merits a more serious attention is that the escalation of the military exercises to cope with someone's "contingency" is included in the on-going saber-rattling. Herein lie the sinister intention of the U.S. imperialists to invade the DPRK and criminal nature and danger of the on-going exercises.

The joint military exercises kicked off by the U.S. together with the south Korean puppet forces are a vivid expression of its hostile policy towards the DPRK aimed at bringing down its system by force of arms.

It is another objective of the joint saber-rattling to stem the trend of detente and dialogue on the Korean Peninsula and escalate the tension there. Lurking behind these moves is a criminal scenario to seek a permanent presence of the U.S. forces in Northeast Asia and reinforce them, build a triangular military alliance involving the U.S., Japan and south Korea for aggression and thus establish its military domination over it.
