The Movement for Peace and Socialism of Italy in a statement on March 3 said the joint military exercises are arousing great concern among the world people as they are nuclear war exercises with huge war hardware involved according to the U.S. scenario for a war of aggression against the DPRK aimed at occupying the whole of the Korean Peninsula by force of arms.

The U.S. imperialists and the south Korean authorities are describing them as "ones for defense" but this is nothing but sophism to evade their responsibility for bringing the situation on the peninsula to the brink of war, the statement noted.

The Bangladesh Group for the Study of the Songun Policy in a statement on March 2 said that the U.S. and the south Korean authorities finally kicked off the joint military exercises aiming at the DPRK despite progressive mankind's repeated protest and denunciation.

This saber-rattling clearly proves once again that the U.S. and the south Korean authorities are harassers of peace and war-like forces, the statement stressed.

It noted that the present reality in which the touch-and-go situation is prevailing on the Korean Peninsula goes to clearly prove how just the Songun politics is as it helped turn the DPRK into a military power with war deterrent for self-defence.
