US-S. Korean War-like Forces Plan to Stage Joint Military Exercises

| Pyongyang, March 9 (KCNA) -- The U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet army are mulling staging joint aerial military exercises at the U.S. air force base in Kunsan, North Jolla Province from March 8 to 10, according to south Korean Yonhap News. The war maneuvers codenamed Buddy Wing will be reportedly participated in by F-16 fighter bombers of the 8th combat flying corps of the U.S. Air Force and the KF-16 fighters of the 20th combat flying corps of the puppet air force. The U.S. forces' side said the projected saber-rattling was aimed to boost the capability for rapid sorties and perfect performance of operational tasks in contingency. |
