The radio noted that the instable situation of the peninsula has been recently aggravated again to give rise to concern among the international community. And it referred in detail to the scale of the Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises staged by the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet warmongers.

These exercises are under way according to a scenario of simulated overall war with the DPRK, the radio pointed out, adding:

The south Korean side is carrying in real earnest the anti-DPRK psychological warfare while threatening it through demonstration of armed forces. Not only nongovernmental organizations but also the military join in the warfare, seriously getting on the DPRK's nerves and inciting confrontation.

Meanwhile, call for reintroduction of nukes into south Korea is heard from among some people in the U.S. and south Korea.

This advocacy, a factor that may drive the situation of the Korean Peninsula to an uncontrollable crisis, is creating very ill-boding developments. If it is realized, the denuclearization of the peninsula and the situation of Northeast Asia will face a more serious challenge.

The international community hopes for denuclearization, durable peace and stability of the Korean Peninsula.
