Uruguayan Party Leader Criticizes U.S. Interference

| Pyongyang, March 9 (KCNA) -- Eduardo Fernandez, general secretary of the Socialist Party of Uruguay, on March 4 charged that the United States continues its international policy of meddling in the internal affairs of other countries. He responded this way to information issued by the U.S. embassy, published by Wikileaks, on the former foreign minister of Uruguay Reinaldo Gargano (2005-2008). U.S. diplomats defined Gargano as anti-American, radical and ideologically stubborn. "I do not understand why they are performing work of spies to discover that the former foreign minister has positions against the American empire," said Fernandez. |
