Kim Jong Il spared time to watch the joint performance given by the Russian orchestra and the Samjiyon Band of the Mansudae Art Troupe though he was very busy.

I was deeply impressed by his profound knowledge of music.

During our stay here we learned through media that he enjoyed a performance by the State Symphony Orchestra.

He ushered in a great heyday of symphony.

The artistes of the Samjiyon Band of the Mansudae Art Troupe who staged the performance together with us were very high in the level of their representation and artistic skills.

While giving the joint performance, we could deeply feel that arts are making steady progress in the DPRK.

Kim Jong Il is a great genius of arts.
